While the Eldridges focussed their chartmaking activities on New England and New York, they also prepared several large charts covering the balance of the East Coast as well as the Gulf Coast. This chart of the Chesapeake Bay area was one of those large-scale charts. We find no examples of this chart listed on OCLC. The Huntingfield Map Collection at the Maryland State Archives has the 1878 state of the chart, noting that it was first published in 1868.
