A wonderful small map of New England and New York as they were portrayed toward the end of the 17th century. The map covers the area from just north of Casco Bay in Maine to Manhatan, naming many towns and rivers. A key at the top left of the map locates another 32 towns. The map names Manhatten Island and depicts a very large Long Island with several towns. McCorkle, New England in Early Printed Maps, 1513-1800: 688.3.
